Statement of Faith

As an Institute, we believe in the following as the basis for our Christian faith...   

The only one living and true God. 
Three distinct persons in this one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are equal and eternal. 
God as creator and upholder of all things, graciously revealing Himself to mankind and acting in Jesus Christ to redeem His creation.
The eternal deity and sinless humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ.   
His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His birth of the Virgin Mary.  
His death in our place as the only perfect sacrifice for sin offered once-for-all.
His bodily resurrection and ascension.   
His unique position as the only mediator between God and man.   
His personal return in glory.   
The divine inspiration and authority of the entire Old and New Testaments, as originally given, expressing the mind of God for the whole of life, and providing the only reliable rule of faith and practice.   
The sinfulness and guilt of fallen man, making him subject to the anger and condemnation of God. 
The necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and of repentance, faith, and a life of practical holiness. 
Justification by the grace of God through faith alone in   Jesus Christ. 
Salvation as the present experience of the forgiveness of sins, peace with God, joy in the Holy Spirit, and the certainty of eternal life. 
The bodily resurrection and judgment of all. 
The eternal joy and fulfilment of the saved and the eternal condemnation of the lost. 
The one true Church, the body of Christ, of which He alone is Head, comprising all in every place who trust in Him for salvation
