Individual Courses - Introduction

It is possible to take individual courses within the Certificate and Diploma programme.  You can join an individual course at the beginning of the semester in which it begins (mid September and the begining of January) for day-time study, or for evening study, at the beginning of the term in which it begins, ( (September, November and February).


Course choices are as follows:

Semester 1 (Begins Sept 2012)

  • Developing Disciples - Cerificate level
  • Old Testament Survey - Certificate level*
  • Introduction to Biblical Interpretation - Certificate level
  • Introducing Christian Theology - Certificate level*
  • Mentoring and Apprenticeship programme - Certifcate level
  • Introduction to  Pastoral Care - Certificate level
  • New Testament - Romans - Dip/Degree level
  • Mission in Contemporary Ireland - Dip/Degree level
  • Faith and Contemporary Culture - Dip/Degree level
  • Developing Leadership Practice - Dip/Degree level
  • Mentoring and Apprenticeship Programme - Dip/Degree level
  • Dissertation - Degree level
  • Spirituality and Self-understanging - Certificate level- Evening course only*

*Denotes courses that are offered as evening classes for the 2012/13 academic year.

Please note for Diploma/Degree classes (level 5) you may be required to have completed Certificate (level 4) first.
