Library

IBI has an excellent theological library of over 6,000 volumes with ample, comfortable study space, which is available to all students and library members. The library database is maintained by a professional library management program called Heritage IV.
A range of journals are held as well as a wide selection of journal indexes being available through internet access.

The library also houses a specialist collection of books of Irish related interest, mainly historical, cultural and theological.

Computer access
The library is equipped with notebook computers. These computers are available for word processing and other educational-related use. Software provided includes Microsoft Office Professional; Microsoft Windows XP Professional; E-Sword Bible Software. In addition, the library is equipped with Libronix and Gramcord software suites for linguistic, exegetical, and general Biblical research.  IBI provides continuous broadband internet access for research purposes.

Library opening hours
The library is open on a daily basis to students from 9 am - 5 pm, and on Tuesdays during term time from 9 am - 10 pm.

Library Membership
Membership is available to all students for the duration of the course for which they have registered. However modular students will need to apply for library membership in order to have borrowing rights.  In addition membership is available to Cairde (our Alumni association).
