"
God is using IBI to equip a new generation of Irish leaders. I am grateful for the way that God is taking this experience to mould, shape and sharpen me to serve him in his great work of mission to Ireland and beyond".

Praying is one of the most important things you can do for
IBI. So, at the end of this academic year, we would like to take this
opportunity to thank you for your regular and faithful prayer.
For praise:
We have brought many items before you during the
course of this year but more recently much focus has been on our five-year or
Quinquenial Review. I am delighted to tell you that IBI has successfully come
through this review process and that we have approval to continue, expand and
develop over the next five years. The expert panel was impressed by IBI and
feels that what we offer here is special and unique amongst theological
colleges.
We have had the privilege of teaching a terrific
group of students and have witnessed growth not only in their knowledge of God
but in their spiritual walk and ability to serve. Our final degree students
have just gained an excellent set of results, including a first class, and we
are absolutely delighted for them.
On Friday and Saturday 11-12 June we had a
fantastic 2010 IBI Summer Institute with Scot Mc Knight. We had a full house on
both days with brilliant teaching from Scot.
The Lord has blessed our recent fundraising
effort and I am pleased to say that the anticipated €20,000 end-of-year deficit
has diminished. Please continue to pray that we might break even at the end of
the financial year (31 July).
For prayer:
Students
For our September graduates, please pray for the
Lord’s blessing: that those going into full-time ministry would put all that
they have learnt to good, fruitful use and that those who are not sure what the
future holds as yet would know the Lord’s guidance as they make decisions.
Please pray for all the summer outreach
activities, which our students are involved in and also that those who are
returning would enjoy a time of refreshment and rest.
