As we reflect with gratitude on all that God’s doing through the Irish Bible Institute, we look at a small part of what has happened in IBI this year.

Celebrating a year of impact at IBI

IBI’s Summer Institute was an excellent event discussing one of the challenges facing Irish churches today: intercultural ministry in Ireland. Along with some of the IBI team, Nathaniel Jennings of Intercultural Ministries Ireland spoke on topics including: “The nations on our doorsteps” and “Making Christ-centred intercultural community a reality”.  Over 70 Church Leaders attended the event, and the panel of guest speakers were pastors from across Ireland representing multicultural churches.

We’re also delighted to share that this year’s graduates are already making a real impact. Some are now pastoring churches, others are serving as youth leaders and children’s workers, and many are bringing the light of Christ into their communities, workplaces, and families. Your investment in their training is bearing fruit in the lives of people transformed by the gospel across Ireland.

Making an impact beyond Ireland

Students of IBI can make a meaningful impact in their communities—both in Ireland and globally. Meet Prince Kemoh, an IBI graduate who spent a year at the Servants of the Word Bible College in Gambia, where he was able to apply the skills he learned at IBI to empower the local community and support the students there.

My studies in IBI have been so fruitful; what I learned in IBI was an important part of impacting lives and training leaders in Gambia. Now that I am back in Ireland, it is fulfilling to me to be able to connect others to Gambia as well.

This year, we are blessed to have over 70 students enrolled in our programmes. Each student is a testimony to God’s grace and to the generosity of our supporters and friends. The financial support enables us to keep the cost of attending IBI as low as possible and to offer bursaries to those who need them most. Many of our students would not be able to pursue their studies without this help, and we regularly see the relief, joy and deep gratitude when they realise that someone believes in their calling and cares so much that they would support them prayerfully and financially.

While student fees cover 40% of our operational costs, the remaining 60% comes from donors. Every gift, whether €10, €100, or €1000, plays a vital role in enabling us to fulfil our vision and empower God's people.

From all of us here at IBI —staff, faculty, and students alike, thank you for prayerfully considering this opportunity to make a lasting impact. Your generosity is a vital part of God’s work in Ireland, and we are so grateful for your partnership in preparing leaders who will serve the Irish church for generations to come.

Beannacht Dé ort. Go raibh maith agat.
May God bless you. Thank you.
