At Irish Bible Institute, we are dedicated to expanding access to theological education and supporting students on their academic journeys.
To support new students beginning their studies in 2026/2027, IBI will introduce a special bursary offer aimed at providing financial assistance to new students enrolling in the daytime Certificate Level or the first year of any BA in Applied Theology program.
What Is the Special Offer Bursary?
For the 2026/2027 academic year, IBI has set aside a bursary fund of €10,000 to support new daytime students. There are 10 bursaries available, and each provides:
❋ Full-time students€1,000 reduction in first-year tuition fees.
❋ Part-time Students€500 reduction in Year 1
€500 reduction in Year 2
This support is applied as a reduction in tuition fees.
Because the fund is limited, bursaries will be allocated on a first-come, first-applied basis.
To ensure the fund supports those who most need it, eligible new Certificate/ 1st Year BA students may be offered the bursary by default once enrolled, with the option to opt out if financial support is not required. Any declined bursaries will be reallocated.
Successful applicants will be notified before the start of the academic year. We strongly encourage early application to maximise your opportunity to receive support.
